ESC SKI AND SNOWBOARD SWAP

Get stoked with Edmonton Ski Club on Saturday, October 5th, 2024 from 10:00 am - 4:00 pm as we kick off the winter season with our first Ski and Board Swap! All are welcome to join this community hosted fundraising event, held in partnership with ESC Alpine group.

This Ski and Board Swap will be a great opportunity to buy and sell used equipment and winter outerwear. In addition to the swap, you can purchase new surplus equipment from local shops, attend tuning and waxing clinics, and explore booths hosted by local organizations to learn more about what's to come in the 2024-2025 season. Take a break from all of the activities by enjoying food trucks, music, or relaxing in our beer garden.

WHAT IS A SKI SWAP?

Ski swaps are an affordable and sustainable way to find gear and promote community within the world of snowsports! Sellers will register and drop off the items they wish to sell (more information on how below). All are welcome, you do not need to sell gear in order to buy gear. The Sunday following the event, sellers are able to pick up any unsold items and will be mailed a cheque for 80% of the price of each item sold. Edmonton Ski Club will retain 20% as a consignment fee.

We are accepting the following items from those who wish to sell:

1. Skis and snowboards

2. Ski boots and snowboard boots

4. Snowboard bindings

5. Winter outerwear (including jackets, snow pants, gloves, toques, etc...) 

6. Accessories (including poles, goggles, bags, etc...)

WANT TO SELL?  HERE'S HOW​

Step 1:

Register your items here on our google form before September 28th (if you need to register more than 10 items you will need to submit another form).

• On this form you will set the price you wish to sell the item for, if the item sells you will receive 80% of this price, Edmonton Ski Club will keep 20% of the price as a consignment fee.

Step 2:

Drop off your items at the Edmonton Ski Club’s main lodge on September 28th and 29th from 10:00 am - 4:00 pm.

• Staff will confirm your contact information and item details, and tag your gear with a code and the price to prepare them for sale.

• You will receive a ticket with all of your item codes.

Step 3:

Enjoy the Ski and Board Swap! Explore what the event has to offer on October 5th from 10:00 am - 4:00 pm, buy gear, and get stoked.

Step 4:

Pick up any unsold items from the main lodge on October 6th, 2024 from 10:00 am - 4:00 pm and October 7th, 2024 from 10:00 am - 6:00 pm.

• You will receive an email informing you if all of your items were sold. In this case you will not need to come to pick up anything.

Step 5:

Get paid. We will mail your cheque to the address you provided within 10 business days.

You will receive 80% of the price you choose.
